This year’s end of summer reading program was a celebration mixed with music, magic and books performed by Joe Holiday’s Reading Rocks Magic Show. Mr. Holiday started the program by drawing a picture of a bowling ball and as he pulled away the sheet, a bowling ball magically appeared. This trick was performed to illustrate the use of your imagination which is the premise of the book “Harold and the Purple Crayon.” The magic continued and the children were eager to participate in his various skits as he continued to combine the use of magic and books. The program was immediately followed by a pizza party. We concluded the party by selecting our Grand Prize winner based on our Summer Reading Program’s criteria. This year’s winner was Oak Mulholland. Congratulations!!!
