2023 sUMMER READING pROGRAM

Our summer reading program registration this year begins on Monday, June 26th for all Berlin Boro and library members.  Registration needs to be done at the library.  Sign up in the first two weeks and you will receive a free raffle ticket for the Kids Fun Basket!!!  This year the program will run from June 26th through August 11th. 

 

fARM ANIMAL PROGRAM

Join us and Farm Friends LLC to learn about the world of animals on Wednesday, June 28th at 2 PM.  You will have the chance to meet and pet real live furry friends from the farm. Registration is required for all Berlin Boro and library members. 

fun AND GAMES BASKET

The Friends of the Marie Fleche Memorial Library are selling raffle tickets for the Fun and Games basket.  Stop by the library during our normal business hours to purchase some tickets.  Ticket prices are $1 each or 6 for $5.00.  The drawing will be held on Thursday, July 13th.  Proceeds from these tickets help support the library.

FOURTH ANNUAL MOTHER'S DAY TEA

The Mother’s Day Tea was a wonderful day spent with family and friends.  The Friends of the Marie Fleche Memorial Library would like to thank everyone who purchased tickets and the hard working volunteers who put it all together.

The raffle winner for the Girls Night Out basket was Karen Flynn.  The drawing was held during the Mother’s Day and and Karen was attending the tea!!!   Proceeds from these tickets help support the library.

Upgrade to Libby from Overdrive

On May 1, 2023, the OverDrive app will be discontinued. We encourage you to make the switch to Libby, our newer reading app. Libby is made by the same people, with the same goal of connecting you to your library and to your favorite books, audiobooks, and magazines.

Live online tutoring for all learners

Need homework assistance?  Or perhaps, you would benefit on help with taking tests.  The Marie Fleche Memorial Library has licensed the online tutoring service Brainfuse .   Brainfuse “HelpNow” can assist you with both of these areas for free.  In addition to taking practice tests, a tip for successful test preparation is to explain your answer to others. This helps you get a clear idea in your head AND highlights any areas where you may need to build skills.

AWE CHILDREN’S COMPUTERs

Stop by the library to have some fun with our newest AWE Children’s Learning Computers. Touch the screen; drag and drop images with your finger; match the colors on the keyboard or mouse and a variety of sounds and exciting games are ready for your enjoyment!! The computers are operational during normal library hours.
