The Marie Fleche Memorial Library is offering a new program called Come-A-Stitchin’, to individuals who are interested in getting together as they work on their own crochet, knitting or needlework projects. This gives you the opportunity to meet new folks as you work on your projects.
The Group will meet every third Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:30 pm at the library. The first meeting date will be Wednesday, September 17th.
The Friends of the Marie Fleche Memorial Library, of Berlin Borough, will be holding their annual BOOK and BAKE Sale. This event takes place at the library, 49 S. White Horse Pike, Saturday, September 27th from 10 AM to 2 PM, rain or shine. We are now accepting used books (Children’s books needed) during our normal library hours. (Please no textbooks, medical, encyclopedias, DVDs or CDs). If you are interested in donating homemade baked goods for the sale, they may be dropped off at the library that morning, Saturday, September 27th , as early as 9:30 AM Click the button for additional details and flyer.
The Friends of the Marie Fleche Memorial Library are selling raffle tickets for a fall basket. Stop by the library during our normal business hours to purchase some tickets. Ticket prices are $1 each or 6 for $5.00. The drawing will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 during the GBBPA Berlin Fall Festival. Proceeds from these tickets help support the library.

This year’s end of summer reading program was a very interactive magic show performed by Ken the Magician while including the children in several of his tricks . The program was immediately followed by a pizza party. We concluded the party by selecting our Grand Prize winner based on our Summer Reading Program’s criteria. So much fun was had by all the children as they each colored a “paper” quilt square. They all knew that once that was completed, they would then be treated to an ice cream treat. We would like to thank the Friends of the Marie Fleche Memorial Library for treating our little friends, as well as, including our Berlin Boro Municipal employees.
