Come-a-stitchin'

The Marie Fleche Memorial Library is offering a new program called Come-A-Stitchin’, to individuals who are interested in getting together as they work on their own crochet, knitting or needlework projects.  This gives you the opportunity to meet new folks as you work on your projects.

The Group will meet every third Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:30 pm at the library.  The first meeting date will be Wednesday, September 17th

Congratulations to Nancy Grover as the winner of the Lottery Fever Basket rafffled by The Friends of the Marie Fleche Memorial Library.  Proceeds from these tickets help support the library.

 

BOSCOV’s FRIENDS FUNDRAISER

The Friends of the Marie Fleche Memorial Library are participating in the Boscov’s “Friends Helping Friends” fundraiser.  Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to help support the library.   The 25% discount pass can be purchased for $5.00 at the library.  The pass can only be used on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.  These passes can be used at any Boscov’s store. 

END OF SUMMER READING PROGRAM & party

This year’s end of summer reading program was a very interactive magic show performed by Ken the Magician while including the children in several of his tricks .  The program was immediately followed by a pizza party.  We concluded the party by selecting our Grand Prize winner based on our Summer Reading Program’s criteria.  This year’s winner was Natalie Bhasin.  Congratulations!!!  Click on the button below to see all the fun.

We are excited to announce that we have a mobile print solution provider from Princh.  Princh can be used from any location and will remain in the print queue for 24 hours.  It will be released once you come into the library and identify your email address. Live online tutoring for all learners

Need homework assistance?  Or perhaps, you would benefit on help with taking tests.  The Marie Fleche Memorial Library has licensed the online tutoring service Brainfuse .   Brainfuse “HelpNow” can assist you with both of these areas for free.  In addition to taking practice tests, a tip for successful test preparation is to explain your answer to others. This helps you get a clear idea in your head AND highlights any areas where you may need to build skills.

Touch the screen; drag and drop images with your finger; match the colors on the keyboard or mouse and a variety of sounds and exciting games are ready for your enjoyment!!
