News & Announcements

We have recently added our own YouTube Channel so we can bring you various library programs and information from home.  Our first video will feature how to make a Water Bottle Planter Craft geared towards children 7 years of age and older.  The entire kit for this craft needs to be picked up from the library.   Limited kits are available; therefore, it is on a first come basis.

We hope you enjoy this craft!  Additional, videos will be available soon.

The Marie Fleche Memorial Library will open our doors at 25% capacity on Monday, July 6th at 10am.

Here are the key things you need to know:

  1. Hours – M-W-F- 10am – 3pm & T-Th- 12pm – 5pm
  2. You must wear a face covering while in the library unless you have a medical exemption
  3. We will have a hand sanitizing station at the library entrance and encourage patrons to use upon entering
  4. Computers will be available by appointment only and will be limited to 30 minutes
  5. Patrons are encouraged to select their materials, check them out and then exit the building. Leisure seating will not be available
  6. Curbside Pick-up will still be available for anyone who prefers not to enter the library

We understand that this is a new and difficult environment.  We ask for your patience as we go through this process.  Not only are these provisions designed to keep our patrons and staff as safe as possible but they are required by the state to remain open.

This year our Summer Reading Program will look a little different. While things may be challenging as the pandemic limits access into the library one thing that has not changed is our love of reading.  You can register in person at the library or use our curbside pick-up.

Our program this year will begin on Monday, July 6th and end on Friday, August 14th.  We will have craft pickups, YouTube videos and prizes.  Check the website frequently for new activities and do-at-home crafts.  Each week will have something new.

Turn in your completed bingo sheet, at any time, for a prize!  Have fun.

Complete the Scavenger Hunt before the end of the Summer Reading program and bring it to the library to be entered for a chance to win 1 of 5 prizes.  You can print the form by clicking on the link below or pick one up in the library.  Have fun!
